A new head has been appointed at the Shipping Register

The Head of the Shipping Administration of Ukraine, Serhiy Gurskyi, introduced the new head to the Register staff.

Oleksiy Vostrikov became the new head of the Shipping Register of Ukraine, the department reported.

Oleksiy Vostrikov has experience in management work in the field of state infrastructure, water transport and the development of infrastructure projects. This experience is important for the further stable operation of the enterprise, the development of its capabilities and the implementation of modern approaches in the activities of the Register.

“An important stage of systemic work lies ahead. Our task is to ensure the stability of the Register’s activities, strengthen trust in the Ukrainian classification system and implement modern approaches in the field of technical supervision and shipping safety,” Vostrikov noted.

Earlier, USM reported that the Shipping Register of Ukraine inspected a Slovak vessel for the transportation of dangerous goods.
