A notorious thief bulk carrier of grain has been spotted in Syria


A Russian bulk carrier involved in a scheme to steal grain from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine has arrived at the Syrian port of Tartus.

Bulk carrier “Mikhail Nenashev” was spotted in the Syrian port of Tartus. This was pointed out by OSINT researcher MT Anderson.

On June 26, the criminal ship unloaded 28,000 tons of stolen grain in Tartus.

This is the 26th voyage of a Russian ship to Syria with stolen Ukrainian grain. Over the past two years, “Mikhail Nenashev” has sent more than 728,000 tons of grain to Syria.
