On the morning of August 13, the Romanian Navy discovered a sea mine in the north of Constanţa county — in the area of the Kituk reserve. This was reported in the press service of the Ministry of Defense of the country.
To investigate the dangerous find, the military involved a team of 39 divers.
The explosive device was classified as an anchor river mine — a high-explosive mine of the Soviet era. Explosives will be eliminated as soon as possible.
Recently, USM wrote that a sea mine was also brought to the coast of Odesa. It was destroyed by the Ukrainian military.
