A ship was confiscated from, a Russian protégé in the Zaporizhzhya region
Collaborator and head of the occupation administration of the Zaporizhzhia region Yevhen Balytsky had property confiscated.
The higher anti-corruption court confiscated the property of Yevhen Balytsky and his father and son, reports the Center of National Resistance.
It is about a self-made tourist vessel, as well as three apartments, a residential building, two plots of land in Melitopol, four cars, five airplanes, funds in bank accounts and shares in nine companies.
Balytskyi amassed such a fortune thanks to the fact that during the occupation he was engaged in the illegal distribution of property of Ukrainians who left the territories, as well as the so-called “nationalization” of Ukrainian enterprises.
Evgeny Balytskyi was a people’s deputy in 2012-2019 from the Party of Regions and the “Opposition Bloc”, after the full-scale invasion of the Russians he became a collaborator and headed the occupation administration of the captured part of the Zaporizhzhia region with its center in Melitopol.
In Ukraine, Balytskyi was sentenced in absentia to 15 years in prison.
USM previously reported that the Russians want to launch sea passenger transportation from the Berdyansk port to connect the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia region with Crimea.
