Arkas Logistics ceases operations in Ukraine

Turkish logistics company Arkas Logistics is ceasing operations in Ukraine.
This was reported by Yalcin Cetiner, who worked at Arkas Logistics Ukraine for over 15 years.
According to him, he left his position on September 30, 2026 in connection with the company’s decision to cease operations in Ukraine. Cetiner thanked his colleagues and business partners for the years of joint work.
At the same time, he said that he and his family decided to stay in Ukraine and continue to work in the fields of logistics, shipping and trade.
“I believe in Ukraine and its people in this fair struggle and am convinced that logistics, shipping and trade services should continue here,” he noted.
The reasons for Arkas Logistics’ decision to cease operations in Ukraine are not specified in the message.
Arkas Line was established in July 1996 as the first container line operating vessels under the Turkish flag. The company offers a regular service between the ports of the Black Sea, the Mediterranean Sea and West Africa, served by a fleet of container ships with a capacity of 500 TEU to 2,800 TEU and a container fleet of about 115,400 TEU.
