Britain will hand over 50 military boats to Ukraine

Great Britain has announced a new military aid package for Ukraine, which includes, in particular, military boats.

Thus, Britain will hand over 50 small military boats to Ukraine to support river and coastal operations, according to the website of the British government.

In addition, Ukraine will receive 90 Brimstone anti-tank missiles, 10 AS-90 self-propelled guns, 40 demining machines, 250,000 12.7 mm ammunition and 61 bulldozers for building fortifications.

Also, the new defense minister of Great Britain, John Geely, promised to accelerate the delivery of the aid package to Ukraine, announced in April, within the next 100 days. The April pack includes, among other things, 60 boats and a raiding vessel.

Gili’s visit to Ukraine coincided with the celebration of the Day of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

We will remind, Ukraine will receive new patrol boats from the USA. US President Joe Biden announced the new aid package on Friday, June 7, during negotiations with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. In particular, the aid included coastal and river patrol boats.

Earlier, USM reported that the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine received CB90 armored boats from benefactors for 165 million hryvnias.
