Container unloader to be repaired in the port of Mariupol for UAH 6.9 million
SE “Mariupol Commercial Sea Port” signed a contract with the PE “UTS-Azov” for overhaul of container unloader №2 with a total cost of UAH 6.91 million (USD 258.7 thousand).
As USM reported earlier, the company announced a tender for overhaul of container unloader №2 for UAH 7.9 million (USD 295.8 thousand) in July this year. On September 20th, an auction was carried out to select a contractor – PE “UTS-Azov” became the winner. UTS-Azov’s competitor was Konecranes Ukraine LLC with a tender offer of UAH 6.95 million (USD 260.2 million).

Mariupol port plans to renovate:
- auxiliary crane;
- rails on the bridge of the crane moving the trolley;
- lifting mechanism;
- crane knee lifting mechanism;
- traveling mechanism of the load trolley.
Also, the company will carry out painting and testing of mechanical equipment.
