Ferry service between Ukraine and Georgia has been restored, — Ukrzaliznytsia

Ukraine and Georgia have resumed ferry service. The first flights from the port of Chornomorsk to Batumi have already taken place.
This was reported by Interfax-Ukraine with reference to the director of commercial work and logistics of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, Tymofiy Murakhovsky.
Thus, for the first time since the beginning of the full-scale war, Ukraine has resumed ferry service with Georgia. The first two flights from the port of Chornomorsk to the port of Batumi have already taken place.
The flights were carried out on March 18 and 26. A third flight is also planned for next week, Murakhovsky said.
He explained that the first flights in March were carried out in the mode of information silence, and also called on business to become more actively involved in the direction.
The project is being implemented with the participation of the shipping company Ukrferry (Odesa) and the subsidiary of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, UZ Cargo Poland (Warsaw).
USM previously reported that the Chornomorsk-Varna ferry has partially resumed operations.
