Grain prices in Ukrainian ports are rising
Since the beginning of last week, the feed barley market has maintained an upward trend in prices.
Prices for fodder barley destined for export from Ukrainian ports are rising. This is reported by “APK-Inform”.
Thus, in the ports of Great Odesa, demand prices for fodder barley increased by 5-7 USD/t. As of July 29, agricultural crops are estimated at 162-172 USD/t CPT-port.
At the same time, demand prices in the Danube ports increased by 1-3 USD/t — to 163-171 USD/t CPT-port.
The increase in prices is taking place against the background of high demand from importers and insufficient supply of grains of the new crop. Additional support for prices is provided by the adjacent wheat market.
As USM recently wrote, the ports of Great Odesa exported 60 million tons of cargo in 11 months of operation.
