In 17 days of July, it was possible to export 1,037,000 tons of Ukrainian corn, as well as 785,000 tons of wheat.

Spike Brokers analysts reported that as of July 17, Ukraine exported 266.7 thousand tons of barley, 135.9 thousand tons of soybeans, 58.5 thousand tons of rapeseed, as well as 188.1 thousand tons of sunflower and 260 thousand tons sunflower oil.

In July, the total export of Ukraine went to European countries – 46.6% or 1,399 thousand tons, to the countries of the Middle East and Asia – 48% or 1,443 thousand tons, and other directions – 5.3% or 159,2 thousand tons. tons

“The current spot demand for corn in the direction of Ukrainian ports is at the level of $174-178 CRT ports. At the same time, sellers are gradually switching their attention to the new harvest, which has returned to the levels of $175+ CRT ports, which has stimulated the recovery of forward contract fixing activity,” the analysts noted.

As for the situation in Europe, French farmers estimate that grain yields in the 2024/25 season will drop by 13-20% compared to previous annual averages due to bad weather.

In Brazil, according to the Conab agency, 74% of the second crop of corn has already been harvested, which is significantly higher than last year’s figure of 39% for the same period.
