In Ukraine, a portal was created to track Russian offending vessels

Already 360 ships have been included in the list of violators on the War & Sanctions state portal about sponsors and accomplices of Russian aggression.

This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

A new section on the War & Sanctions portal of the Ministry of Defense of the Ministry of Defense covers the maritime logistics of the enemy, in particular, it contains data on offending vessels.

“Maritime logistics is critically important for building up the aggressor’s military capabilities, moving troops, obtaining weapons and sanctioned goods, and trading in stolen goods. Aggressors transport weapons through international straits on civilian merchant vessels. Export of fossil fuels to circumvent sanctions is the main source of income for the Russian Federation and Iran. Shadow tanker fleet and non-ice-class vessels in the Arctic threaten environmental disaster. From the sale of agricultural products from the temporarily occupied Ukrainian territories, Russia finances the war and maintains the loyalty of its allies – Syria, Iran, and the DPRK,” the section’s description says.

Currently, 360 vessels are being tracked. The portal records AIS shutdown cases, ship calls to Russian ports, detailed information on sanctions and violations, as well as visited ports.

The GUR of the Ministry of Defense emphasized that it is necessary to authorize the vessels from the list below, as well as all related companies and individuals (owners, operators, managers, supervisors, senior crew members). Prohibit the entry of such vessels into ports, territorial waters, EEZs and international straits, the sale of spare parts for them, etc.
