NATO was informed about Russian attacks on Ukrainian ports near Romania

The wreckage of the third Russian drone fell on the territory of Romania after the attacks on the Danube ports.

On Wednesday, September 13, during a meeting of the North Atlantic Council, the Romanian ambassador informed NATO allies about the ongoing Russian attacks on the Ukrainian port infrastructure near the Romanian border, Interfax-Ukraine writes.

NATO stated that they have no information that would indicate any deliberate attack by the Russian Federation on the territory of allies.

“The Romanian ambassador also said that fragments of drones similar to those used by Russia have been found on the territory of Romania for the third time. Romanian authorities remain vigilant and are conducting a full investigation,” said acting alliance representative Dylan White.

As previously reported by USM, for the first time the fall of a Russian UAV was recorded on the territory of Romania after the attack on Ukrainian ports on the Danube, which took place on September 4.
