Negotiations on the Grain Agreement will be held in Istanbul: what is known


Ankara announced a meeting of the delegations of Ukraine, russian federation and Turkey, during which decisions will be made regarding the extension of the Black Sea Grain Initiative.

Negotiations between Ukraine, russian federation and Turkey regarding the Grain Agreement are scheduled for Friday, May 5, in Istanbul, A Haber reports.

According to Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, the parties are ready to extend the validity period of the agreements.

“We want this initiative to continue without problems. Because it is very important for countries that need it, as well as for regional peace and stability. In this context, we can say that the parties are ready to extend the term of the agreement,” Akar emphasized.

As USM previously reported with reference to Reuters,   the negotiations on the Grain Agreement were scheduled for Wednesday, May 3.
