Odesa Customs will join the electronic system “TCS” in the port of Odesa

The customs post “Odesa-Port” will soon be connected to the Terminal Community Systems (TCS) software and information complex of the State Enterprise “TCS“.
This was reported by the Association of International Forwarders of Ukraine (AMEU).
On the instructions of the acting head of the Odessa Customs of the State Enterprise of Ukraine – Andriy Koliver, the customs post “Odesa-Port” will soon be connected to the Terminal Community Systems (TCS) software and information complex of the State Enterprise “Container Terminal Odesa”.
The AMEU noted that this is a step towards faster, more transparent and more effective customs control of cargo in containers passing through the international sea checkpoint in the Odesa port.
“Such a solution will minimize the human factor, speed up customs procedures and provide more transparency and analytics in data processing,” the message says.
As previously reported by USM, in May the port of Odesa plans to launch DocPort. The vehicle traffic management module of the DocPort logistics port system is already operating in the port of Chornomorsk and Danube ports.
