Restoration of the building of the passenger complex and the sea station of the Odesa seaport is estimated at $18 million.

Since July 18, 2023, the aggressor country has attacked port infrastructure facilities more than 30 times, said the head of the International Relations Department of the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.

As a result of massive attacks on the infrastructure of sea ports, the following were damaged or partially destroyed: elevators, warehouses for storing grain, oil and petroleum products, pipelines, administrative and other buildings, transport, cargo, including crops.

According to preliminary estimates, only the restoration and restoration of the building of the sea station of the Izmail port is estimated at $1.6 million. The restoration of the building of the passenger complex and the sea station of the Odesa sea port is $18 million.

To ensure the stable operation of the Odesa port, it is necessary to carry out major repairs of the third stage of the overpass, which was damaged during the missile attack. The preliminary cost of repairs is $35 million. In total, since February 24, 2022, Russia has damaged or destroyed more than 600 units of movable and immovable property of USPA.

USPA systematically works on the restoration of infrastructure, keeps records of destroyed objects, involves international financial institutions and international programs and funds, JICA, USAID – US Agency for International Development, HGBF, World Bank, etc.

We will remind you that on the night of September 25, the Russians carried out a combined attack with rockets and kamikaze drones on Odesa and the region. The sea station suffered significant damage. A fire broke out in the building of the station hotel “Odesa”, which has not been functioning for several years.
