Romania wants to increase the volume of grain transit from Ukraine

Romania intends to increase the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through the Danube corridor.

Interfax-Ukraine writes about this.

“Romania will continue its efforts to increase the volume of grain transiting the Danube Corridor by increasing transport capacity and better using, adapting and modernizing the infrastructure that supports this activity,” said Romanian Foreign Minister Luminica Odobescu.

Today, 68% of Ukrainian exports of grain and agricultural products pass through Romania.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also emphasized that Romania strongly supports the process of European integration of the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine.

We will remind, at the beginning of the new season, Ukraine increased the volume of grain exports.
