The invaders plan to dredge the port of Mariupol

The Russian occupiers want to dredge the port of Mariupol in order to export more stolen goods.

This was stated by the so-called head of the “DPR” government, Andrei Chertkov.

He reported on the first meeting of the “DPR Maritime Council”.

“In essence, we are starting systematic work on the development of the maritime industry in the region. Our main goal is to coordinate the efforts of the republican and federal authorities, coastal municipalities, port operators, shipowners and businesses. We want all decisions to be made based on real needs and prospects,” the head of the “DPR” said.

In particular, the invaders discussed dredging the approach channel of the Coal Harbor. The Russians hope that this will allow the port to receive and service vessels of larger tonnage in order to increase the flow of stolen cargo.

USM previously reported that Russians illegally exported stolen kaolin from Mariupol to Turkey.
