Russia will not prevent the departure of Turkish ships from the ports of Mykolaiv and Olvia

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, said that the Russian Federation agreed not to prevent the departure of Turkish ships from the ports of the Mykolaiv region.

Erdogan wrote about this on Twitter, announcing the extension of the Grain Agreement for 60 days.

“I wish that this decision, which is of vital importance for the smooth operation of global food supply chains and especially for facilitating access to grain for countries that need it, will be beneficial for all parties,” Erdogan said.

Earlier, the Minister of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure, Oleksandr Kubrakov, confirmed the unblocking of the Grain Agreement — it will continue in effect until July 18.
