Russian “Arctic LNG” came under new US sanctions
The United States has imposed new sanctions against Russian operators of natural gas pipelines and LNG processing projects.
On June 12, the US Ministry of Finance published a list of companies ,from the Russian Federation against which new sanctions were imposed. Russian LNG processing companies became a separate sector subject to restrictions.
In particular, new sanctions were introduced against the following companies of the aggressor country:
“Arctic LNG 1″ manages and supports construction projects and the development of a gas production site.
“Arctic LNG 3″ is engaged in geological exploration, in particular, the search and assessment of mineral deposits. The company also mines clay, sand, kaolin, gravel and other minerals.
JSC “RusGazDobycha” is implementing the construction of a natural gas processing and liquefaction plant in Russia.
“Obsky Gasochemical Complex” LLC implements the construction of a gas processing site in Russia.
Gazprom Invest LLC designs and builds gas industry facilities.
“Regent Baltica Company Limited” manufactures cryogenic isothermal panels for LNG storage.
LLC “International Innovation Center of Marine Construction and Ship Repair” manufactures closed sections of ships for the “Zvezda” shipbuilding complex. The latter is engaged in the construction of specialized gas tankers.
Zvezda, which is also on the US sanctions list, is building three more gas carriers at its shipyard: Zvezda 047 (IMO: 9918781), Zvezda 046 (IMO: 9918779) and Zvezda 045 (IMO: 9904704).
JSC “Sovcomflot”, also listed in the USA, is the operator of four more gas carriers under construction: Sergey Witte (IMO: 9904687), Aleksey Kosygin (IMO: 9904546), Petr Stolypin (IMO: 9904675) and “Zvezda 044” (IMO: 9904699).
As USM wrote the day before, the United States also imposed sanctions against more than 10 Russian ship repair plants and shipyards.
