Russian drones attacked two civilian vessels moving through the Ukrainian Maritime Corridor

In the Black Sea, strike drones attacked two ships under the flags of Barbados and Panama, which were traveling along the Maritime Corridor.
This happened as a result of shelling on June 10, the Ministry of Development reported.
The ship under the flag of Panama was heading to the port of Odesa region to load metal. A fire broke out on board, which was quickly extinguished by the crew.
A ship under the flag of Barbados, which was transporting wheat, was also damaged.
Fortunately, there were no injuries. Both ships remain seaworthy and continued their route.
“The latest attacks on civilian shipping once again confirm that Russia is deliberately threatening the security of maritime logistics. Despite this, the Ukrainian sea corridor continues to operate and ensure product exports and global food security,” the department noted.
USM previously reported that a Russian drone struck the Kernel terminal in Chornomorsk for the second time in a month.
