Russians want to build a yacht club in occupied Berdyansk

The invaders want to build a marina in temporarily occupied Berdyansk, Zaporizhia region.
This was reported by the Berdyansk City Military Administration.
The so-called “Single Institute of Spatial Planning of the Russian Federation” reported on a plan to build a yacht marina in temporarily occupied Berdyansk. This is a private port for mooring small vessels — boats, yachts, etc. According to the occupiers’ plan, the marina for 25 berths should include a storage facility, repair shops, an administrative building, and related facilities.
The project is presented as “tourism development” and “improving the quality of life,” although in reality it is just an attempt to replace the important needs of the community with loud promises and show-off construction in conditions of war and humanitarian crisis.
It is also important that over the three years of occupation, the city’s tourism sector has reached the peak of neglect. Almost no vacationers come to Berdyansk – with the exception of single travelers from the Russian Federation and the so-called “People’s Republic of Donets and Luhansk”.
USM previously reported that the Russian Federation wants to establish a ferry connection between occupied Berdyansk and Kuban.
