Shmyhal and Kubrakov arrived at the border of Poland
A part of the Ukrainian government arrived at the Ukrainian-Polish border to hold a meeting with representatives of the Polish government.
The President of Ukraine offered the leadership of Poland a platform to negotiate and find a compromise regarding the transit of Ukrainian products, the Ministry of Reconstruction reported.
On Friday, February 23, Ukrainian government officials arrived at the border: Deputy Prime Minister Olha Stefanishyna, Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction Oleksandr Kubrakov, Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko, Minister of Agriculture Mykola Solskyi, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Yevhen Perebiynis, Deputy Minister of Economy Taras Kachka, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure Serhiy Derkach, Head of the State Border Service, General Serhiy Deineko, Head of the State Customs Service Serhiy Zvyagintsev.
“But, unfortunately, such a meeting with Polish government officials did not take place today,” the Ministry of Reconstruction commented.
It is worth noting that the government officials of Poland and Ukraine agreed on a meeting in Warsaw on March 28. But the meeting at the border on February 23 was not agreed upon.
Previously, USM reported that Ukrainian farmers brought to the border with Poland agricultural equipment destroyed during hostilities.
