Shmyhal: Ukraine is waiting for the support of partners regarding the “Grain Agreement”

The Prime Minister of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, said that the support of all partners is necessary in the matter of continuing the work of the “Grain Initiative”.

“Ukraine hopes for the support of international partners to continue the work of the Grain Agreement,” Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at a press conference in Rome, writes Ukrainform.

According to him, support from partners will help create pressure for Russia to continue the work of the “grain corridor” after May 18. “Without additional restrictions and so that it does not currently create an appropriate blocking of the export of Ukrainian grain,” Shmyhal added.

He also appealed to the leadership of Italy and the Vatican for help in this matter.

As previously reported by USM, China considers it necessary to continue the “grain initiative”, within the framework of which Ukraine exports grain by ship from the ports of Great Odesa.
