Since the beginning of the month, UZ has processed 1.4 million tons of grain

Over the 18 days of February, 1.408 million tons of grain were loaded onto the Ukrainian railway network, which is 27% less than in February last year.

This is reported by Rail.insider with reference to an online meeting of representatives of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia with participants in the agricultural market on February 20.

According to Valerii Tkachev, Deputy Director of the Department of Transportation Technology and Commercial Work of JSC Ukrzaliznytsia, over the 18 days of February, 1 million 408 thousand tons of grain were loaded onto the network. This is 11% less than in January and 27% less than in February last year.

In February, 1 million 769 thousand tons of grain cargo were transported. For export – 1 million 549 thousand tons. The figure is 7.1% lower than in January and 25% lower than in February 2024. Of the aforementioned volume, 1 million 421 thousand tons (92%) of grain were delivered to ports, and 128 thousand tons (8%) to western border crossings.
