South Korean MFG excluded Ukrainian and russian corn from the tender

The South Korean company Major Feedmill Group (MFG) excluded grain of Ukrainian and russian origin from the tender.

The company announced an international tender for the purchase of up to 140,000 tons of fodder corn for animals. The deadline for submitting price offers for the tender expired on Tuesday, November 29.

The MFG is looking for corn in two shipments of 55,000 to 70,000 tons, both to arrive in South Korea in 2023, Hellenic Shipping News reported.

The company said it was seeking offers for corn of “optional origin,” but excluded Ukrainian and russian grain from the bidding.
