Sweden allocates more than 8 million euros to Grain From Ukraine
Sweden will provide Ukraine with more than 8.7 million euros as part of the Grain From Ukraine initiative.
Prime Minister of Sweden Ulf Kristersson announced this on the social network H.
“I am glad to announce that Sweden will provide another SEK 100 million for the implementation of the Grain from Ukraine initiative through the World Food Program. Ukraine continues to contribute to global food security despite the fact that Russia continues its aggressive war,” the Prime Minister noted.
In particular, during the second Grain From Ukraine summit, which took place in Kyiv, it became known that another vessel is being prepared for departure within the framework of the initiative. The bulker will transport a cargo of grain to the port of Nigeria, which will help almost 400,000 people.
