The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine restored the operation of maritime services. The services will work in test mode for the next month.

The launch of the state seafarer’s account was scheduled for March 31st of the next year.

Over the past two weeks, the Seafarer’s account has been “resurrected” twice. But eventually, it is still unclear whether the State Register of Seafarers of Ukraine has really fully resumed its functions, or whether this is the renewal of a fraudulent scheme that was previously eliminated by the SBU.

The operational period of certificates and seafarers’ passports issued in Ukraine was extended til June 30th, 2022. The official reason is Covid-19, without mentioning the blocked State Register of Seafarers.
