The explosions on “Nord Streams” were sabotage, – Sweden

Swedish investigators have confirmed that the explosions at the Nord Stream gas pipelines were the result of sabotage.

“The analysis carried out shows traces of explosives on several objects found,” the Swedish prosecutor’s office said in a statement, according to the Independent.

Findings near the place of damage to the pipeline confirmed the fact of sabotage, the statement said.

It will be recalled that at the end of September, a leak in the gas pipelines of “Nord Streams” began, caused by explosions. The investigation into the sabotage is still ongoing.

Recently, SpaceKnow, a company that monitors satellite data, discovered two large ships that, with AIS turned off, passed near gas pipelines in the days before the explosions.
