The floating crane Neptune-4 will be repaired in the Mariupol port

Machinery repair shops of SE “Mariupol Commercial Sea Port” have begun scheduled overhaul of the floating crane Neptune-4.

The floating crane is regularly operated during cargo operations in the port, therefore its repair is divided into several stages, the port said.

First, the boom system will be repaired, which includes an audit of all its blocks, as well as the replacement of cables. At the next stages, it is planned to repair the electric engine, other crane mechanisms, and the hull.

As USM reported earlier, at the end of September, the administration of the Mariupol seaport together with the contractor (Mast-Bud LLC) began to reconstruct the hydrotechnical part of berth №3.
