The head of the European Commission condemned the Russian attack on the port of Izmail
The head of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, strongly condemned the Russian drone attack on the port of Izmail in Ukraine.
According to von der Leyen, Russia will be held accountable for its war crimes.
“Russia deliberately and systematically attacks civilian infrastructure and destroys tons of grain intended to feed the entire world. These and other attacks on the civilian population are war crimes for which Russia will be held responsible,” the head of the European Commission wrote on Twitter.
It will be recalled that on the night of August 23, the Russian invaders attacked Odesa with Shahed-136/131 attack drones, nine of which were eliminated by the Air Defense Forces. As a result of the attack on the Danube ports, 13 thousand tons of grain were destroyed.
