The Russians took the stolen grain from the Kherson region to Spain
Collaborator Volodymyr Saldo, the “leader” of the occupied Kherson region, allowed Russian exporters to export 34,000 tons of stolen grain.
Saldo and a specially created local commission gave permits to Russian companies to “export” Ukrainian agricultural products, according to the “Scheme” investigation.
Approvals for export of looted grain included zero or reduced export rate of customs duty.
Thus, in 2023, Russian exporters exported at least 34,000 tons of grain worth 6.2 million euros from the occupied part of the Kherson region.
Kherson grain was sent to Azerbaijan, Turkey, Syria and Iran. Peas from the occupied Crimea were exported to Spain. The last delivery was carried out by the company “Agro-Fregate”: it sent 4.5 thousand tons of peas to Spain, of which 2.6 thousand tons were loaded in occupied Sevastopol.
