The State Bureau of Investigation found property of a Belarusian company worth more than USD 61 million in one of the ports of Great Odesa.
During the pre-trial investigation, 26,000 tons of metal products were found on the territory of the seaport, the SBI reported.
In particular, fittings, pipes and steel blanks, owned by a company from Belarus, were discovered in the customs control area of Odesa Customs. The DBR noted that the property could have served the Armed Forces for almost two years, if the customs had not “lost” it contrary to the requirements of the Law “On Seizure of Property During Martial Law”.
The estimated value of the product is more than 61 million US dollars.
So far, the property has been seized, and 412 wagons with metal products have been handed over to the needs of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
