The special representative of the US State Department, Kurt Walker, visited the Port of Odessa


Special Representative of the US State Department for Ukraine, Kurt Walker, visited Odesa port.

On Wednesday, May 17, the Special Representative of the US State Department for Ukraine (2017-2019) Kurt Volker visited the port of Odesa. The work and functioning of the “grain corridor” was also discussed during the meeting, reports the Ukrainian Sea Port Authority.

It was also about the fact that the Black Sea Grain Initiative allowed to unblock only the ports of Odesa, although the ports of Kherson region and Mykolaiv region are not involved in the agreement.

In particular, representatives of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the management of branches and state-owned enterprises of the ports of Great Odesa took part in the discussions.

As previously reported by USM, the US welcomed the continuation of the “grain corridor”. The Russian Federation was also reproached for the fact that the aggressor country uses hunger as a weapon.
