Through Prozorro: Ukrainian farmers will be compensated for demining
Through Prozorro, Ukraine will launch a market for humanitarian demining services, for which UAH 2 billion has been allocated from the state budget.
“If an agricultural or other company purchases a demining service through Prozorro, receives this service and a corresponding certificate from an officially licensed operator, then the state will fully or partially compensate the costs,” said Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during the Cabinet meeting.
Currently, they are developing a mechanism for compensating farmers and strategic enterprises for demining costs. For this, a transparent market for demining services is being created, which will operate in the Prozorro electronic trading system.
According to the prime minister, this approach should significantly speed up the process of land clearing where possible.
“In the draft budget for 2024, we have allocated UAH 2 billion for humanitarian demining,” Shmyhal noted.
