Two cargo ships collided in the russian port of Rostov-on-Don. Both were damaged.
The dry cargo ship “Kamilla” collided with the ship “Pola Alexiya” while maneuvering to the berth in the port of Rostov-on-Don in the Sea of Azov. The incident happened on April 16, according to Fleetmon.
There were no injuries or spillage of petroleum products as a result of the accident. It is known that both vessels were damaged.
After the accident, the investigative committee conducted an examination to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
Dry cargo “Pola Alexiya” was built in 2020 at the Krasnoye Sormovo plant. Home port — Saint Petersburg. Deadweight — 8145 tons.
The vessel “Kamilla” was built in 2020 at the Turkish shipyard TK Tuzla Shipyard for the “Morskaya Tehnika” group of companies. The deadweight of the ship is 9331 tons.
