UDS implements a world standard ERP program

PJSC “Ukrainian Danube Shipping” is implementing a world standard ERP program for management automation.
Over the past two years, the company has digitized some processes. In particular, it is about controlling fuel consumption, as well as preventing the resale of spare parts, the UDS said.
The problem was solved thanks to digitalization of management. The world standard ERP program is being implemented in the UDS. Some modules of the system are already in operation in pilot mode.
The automated control system solves many issues, including control over the use of spare parts. A chain of sequence has been created – the company can see in online mode to whom, when and according to which application the spare part was provided, as well as the act of its installation and the act of transferring the old spare part to the warehouse. It is possible to conduct an analysis, to compare the periodicity of replacement of spare parts on different vessels.

We will remind you that the hull of the motor ship “Captain Antipov” was repaired at the Kilia Shipbuilding and Repair Plant.
As previously reported by USM, in December 2023, the UDS together with ÖSWAG partners completed the development of a project to modernize self-propelled vessels of the “Captain Antipov” type.
