Ukraine and Estonia discussed support for port infrastructure

During the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026, a working meeting of representatives of the Ministry of Development and the USPA, as well as the Ministry of Infrastructure of Estonia, took place.
This was reported by the USPA.
The conference was attended by Deputy Minister for Development of Communities and Territories of Ukraine Andriy Kashuba, Deputy Head of the State Enterprise “USPA” Maksym Lapai, and Minister of Infrastructure of Estonia Kuldar Leis.
The focus of the conversation was further cooperation in the development of port infrastructure, improving shipping safety, strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure, and implementing digital solutions in the port industry.
The Ukrainian side thanked Estonia for its consistent support for the sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine in the context of the ongoing armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
They separately discussed practical tools for supporting the transport industry of Ukraine within the International Transport Forum, in particular the Ukraine Transport Support Fund, which is formed thanks to contributions from partner states. Estonia has already allocated 100 thousand euros to the fund.
In this context, the Ukrainian side raised the issue of the possibility of directing part of the fund’s resources to support Ukraine’s port infrastructure.
Earlier, USM reported that partners announced the first contributions to the Ukrainian Transport Support Fund.
