Ukraine exported more than 2 million tons of agricultural products in a month

Ukraine continues to increase the share of export shipments of agricultural products by water transport through sea ports.

Thus, as of November 24, since the beginning of the month, a total of 2.1 million tons of agricultural products were shipped from Ukraine by water transport, including 740 thousand tons through the Danube ports and 1.4 million tons through the ports of Odesa, Pivdenny and Chornomorsk.

1.3 million tons are planned for loading in Black Sea ports, 400,000 tons in Danube ports. This was reported by Spike Brokers experts.

“Freight rates have stabilized in all directions. However, rates have started to rise in some directions, in particular for sea transport to China. The limited supply of marine fleet available during times of military risk may lead to higher rates,” the statement said.

Market rates for transportation by water transport from the port of Chornomorsk as of November 29 were as follows:

• East of Italy – $40-45 (16-20 thousand tons);

• Spain – $37-43 (25-35 thousand tons);

• Spain – $35-41 (55-65 thousand tons).

When transporting from the port of Izmail to the port of Constanta (Romania), the indicated rate is 22-28 euros (1-3 thousand tons).
