Ukraine has increased sea imports of diesel fuel by one and a half times
During the year, Ukraine has received a record number of marine diesel fuel shipments.
The indicator of Ukrainian imports of diesel fuel by sea in 2021 amounted to 1.2 million tons, which is one and a half times more than a year earlier, enkorr reports.
The port of Pivdennyi accepted 335 thousand tons of diesel fuel per year, the Odesa port – 220 thousand tons, the port of Kherson – 175 thousand tons.
“Seaports have enormous potential, and triplet transshipment in 2022 will not be a big problem, especially if the priorities for Ukrzaliznytsia are set correctly. In fact, this means that it will be possible to close Russian imports by sea,” – note the experts of the A-95 Consulting Group.
In total, in 2021, Ukraine received a record 6.85 million tons of diesel fuel, which is 10% more than in 2020.
