Ukraine has opened the registration of ships to pass through temporary corridors
Ukraine has already opened registration for ships that will go to Ukrainian ports through temporary corridors.
“Registration is now open, the coordinator is working,” said Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As Interfax-Ukraine writes, Pletenchuk specified that he cannot reveal the results of these measures at the moment.
He noted that the decision to open these maritime communications routes was approved after Russia’s withdrawal from the Black Sea Grain Initiative.
According to him, shipowners and ship captains have been warned that there is a danger – both the danger of countermeasures from the Russian fleet and mine danger, which remains at a high level in the Black Sea.
“Of course, everything will happen under the supervision of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We do everything possible that depends on us in terms of ensuring security,” Pletenchuk emphasized.
