Ukrainian carriers will block the border in response to the actions of Polish farmers
Ukrainian carriers plan to hold a protest in response to the actions of Polish farmers who systematically block the movement of trucks on the border of the two countries.
From February 15, Ukrainian carriers will protest at the border. Vitaliy Kotsenko, head of the non-governmental organization “Transporters of the Western Region”, reported “Suspilne”.
The action at the checkpoint “Jagodzin – Dorogusk” should start at 9:00 a.m.
According to Kotsenko, the participants of the protest will record the facts of bypassing the blockade from the side of the Polish border. Only those Polish drivers who traveled to Ukraine outside the general queue will not be admitted.
“They let one car pass every hour, and that’s not a Ukrainian, but a Polish driver,” commented Kotsenko.
The duration of protests by Ukrainian carriers will depend on the situation on the Polish side of the border. The passage of regular buses will not be blocked at the checkpoint.
As a reminder, on February 20, Polish farmers plan to block all checkpoints on the border with Ukraine, as well as the entrances to railways and seaports.
Previously, USM reported that Poland’s Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Michal Kolodzejczak, said that Poland will begin mandatory inspection of all Ukrainian grain transiting through the country.
