Ukrainian partisans explored the port area of the Sea of Azov

The reconnaissance was carried out in the port of Taganrog and the territory adjacent to it.

“This port is an important part of Russia’s transport infrastructure. It is used for logistical support of military operations, including the transportation of equipment, ammunition and fuel,” the message reads.

The agent of the partisan movement also provided information on the location of important facilities and nodes.

This year, rossMI also wrote that Russia plans to “work out the issue of organizing sea passenger traffic between the ports of Mariupol and Taganrog.”

It should be noted that the port of Taganrog also serves as a base for military vessels that provide control over the Sea of ​​Azov and adjacent territories. In the conditions of the current conflict, this port plays an important role in ensuring military operations in the south of Ukraine and in other directions, therefore it is a strategically important object.

It will be recalled that in early June 2024, drones attacked a tugboat and a barge in the Taganrog Bay (Sea of ​​Azov). The barge “Section-179” had structural damage.
