Zelenskyy spoke at the session of the IMO Assembly
During his speech, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the work of the maritime corridor.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy delivered a speech at the opening of the 33rd session of the IMO Assembly, reports the head of the Shipping Administration Yevgenii Ignatenko.
According to the head of state, the Russian navy has repeatedly struck ports and civilian vessels in the Black Sea. At the same time, Russia’s capabilities are now significantly limited – the Ukrainian military drove its fleet away from our part of the sea, which allowed alternative routes to be launched in the Black Sea.
“Almost six million tons of cargo were transported in less than three months. No matter what the force is, which aims to destroy the freedom of navigation, the strength of the cooperation of nations will always win,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized in his speech.
It should be noted that the session of the IMO Assembly, which will last from November 27 to December 6, 2023, is held in London.
