18 million tons of goods were exported through the Ukrainian sea corridor


Since the start of operation, 18 million tons of goods have been exported to 32 countries of the world through the Ukrainian maritime corridor.

Of these, 12.7 million tons are agricultural products, said Yurii Lytvyn, the head of the SE “Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority”.

According to him, the ports of Ukraine handled about 62 million tons of cargo by the end of 2023. Among the leaders in cargo nomenclature: grain – 45.5 million tons and bulk – 6.3 million tons.

In turn, the Danube ports handled 32 million tons, which exceeds the record figures of 2022.

“The cargo turnover of the port of Izmail has more than doubled and reached 20.2 million tons (2022 – 8.8 million tons). Port Reni reached a cargo turnover of 10 million tons (6.8 million tons in 2022). Ust-Dunaysk – 1.7 million tons (2022 – 785 thousand tons),” the report says.

As previously reported by USM, Ukraine plans to export another 40 million tons of grain by the end of the season.
