Best solution for the parties: Poland will help with the transit of Ukrainian grain, but will continue the import ban
President of Poland Andrzej Duda said that the country will continue to help with the transit of Ukrainian grain. However, Poland will keep the ban on imports into the country.
In Poland, transit corridors have been prepared, thanks to which Ukrainian grain can pass through Poland and be exported wherever it is needed, the President of Poland Andrzej Duda said on social network X
At the same time, the country will maintain the ban on the import of agricultural products from Ukraine.
“Thanks to the work of our farmers, we are self-sufficient. We do not need grain from Ukraine. Very little of their excellent harvests during the war reached the countries that really needed it, Duda commented. — I think it is the right decision that the Polish government left the ban on the sale of Ukrainian grain on the Polish market. But we must do everything to make transit as large as possible.”
