The Poles unblocked the border with Ukraine

On Monday night, April 29, Polish protesters blocked all checkpoints on the border with Ukraine.

This was reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine.

After unblocking the border, Poland and Ukraine plan to exchange figures on the transit of agricultural products to control the situation.

“We express our gratitude to the Polish Ministry for constructive work on unblocking the border. And also to industry associations of both countries. The ongoing negotiations were not easy, but the main thing is that we have a result,” said Minister of Agricultural Policy Mykola Solskyi.

Negotiations between ministries and associations will continue in the future.

The next meeting of the ministers of agriculture of Ukraine and Poland is scheduled for May 7, where they will discuss the terms of cooperation in the summer.

Previously, USM reported that Poland will officially call on the European Commission to completely block the import of agricultural products from Russia and Belarus.
