Dnipro HPP is in critical condition due to the Russian attack

The Dnipro HPP is currently in critical condition after another massive attack by Russia.

As a result of the massive shelling on the night of June 1, the Dnipro HPP is in critical condition, Ivan Fedorov, the head of Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration, said on the air of the telethon, hromadske reports.

According to him, it was planned to restore traffic through the Dnipro HPP in a matter of hours, but it was not possible to do so.

“DniproHES is now in a critical condition, it is not even about electricity generation. Currently, traffic from the left bank to the right is completely blocked. Two bridges are used for the detour, on which logistics have been established in both directions,” the official said.

The local authorities plan to hold consultations with engineers, designers and other specialists to ensure traffic safety after the opening of the Dnipro HPP.
