Moldova can provide a new discount for railway transportation to the Danube ports

Now representatives of JSC “Ukrzaliznytsia” and SE “Zaliznytsia Moldova” are conducting negotiations regarding preferential tariffs.

“Railway of Moldova” (Calea Ferată din Moldova) is considering providing a discount on transit transportation for all Ukrainian shippers. This is reported by Rail.insider.

Currently, representatives of Ukraine and Moldova have created a working group, the members of which are primarily considering transportation tariffs.

Thus, the Moldovan railway recently submitted its tariff proposals to its Ukrainian colleagues. According to the offer, the discount will depend on the volume of cargo. Currently, this proposal is being considered by Ukrzaliznytsia.

We remind you that there is currently a discount for the transit of Ukrainian agricultural products through the territory of Moldova. It is 27%.
