At the beginning of the new season, Ukraine increased the volume of grain exports

During three first days of July, Ukraine exported more than 300,000 tons of grain and leguminous crops to foreign markets.

The new marketing year 2024/25 started on July 1. Since the beginning of the season, it has already been possible to export 315,000 tons of grain, reports the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.

Last year, only 34,000 tons of grain were shipped during the same period.

As of July 3, 169,000 tons of wheat were exported from Ukraine (9,000 tons in 2023/24 FY). Corn — 142 thousand tons (25 thousand tons), barley — 3 thousand tons (0).

Also, in July, 0.6 thousand tons (in 2023/24 MR — 0) of wheat flour were delivered to foreign markets.

Previously, USM reported that Ukraine exported more than 50 million tons of grain in 2023/24 MY.
