Not a single vessel was disabled due to the Russian attack on Odesa on October 7, — Pletenchuk

During the Russian missile attack on the ports of Great Odesa on October 7, no ship was critically damaged.

This was stated by the spokesman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Dmytro Pletenchuk, on the air of the telethon, “Ukrinform” writes.

“In any case, we have repeatedly discussed this topic – that the enemy, not having success directly at sea and on land, in the Southern direction, has only one option left for him – to strike by air, using aviation, drones, missile armament. He tries to do it periodically,” added Pletenchuk.

He also emphasized that despite constant attacks, the enemy is not able to achieve its goal. The Ukrainian port infrastructure remains functional, and the volume of shipments from the port of Odesa does not decrease.

In the evening of October 9, the terrorist country again attacked the port infrastructure in Odesa. As a result of the impact, seven people died, ten more were injured, six of them are in serious condition.
